Amid a turbulent period for the commercial fishing industry, Kerfil has decided to refocus on its core business: the sale of fishing equipment.
To ensure the continuity of its custom-made net manufacturing business and to maintain a level of quality and service that is at least equivalent, Kerfil decided to partner with VB Sports, a neighboring company and industry peer that has been manufacturing nets in Brittany for more than 20 years, particularly in the boating and residential sectors.
Given VB Sports’ size and nature, it was a natural fit to entrust them with taking over this business; Kerfil is therefore divesting its custom-made net manufacturing operations.
This type of net consists of a central panel that is typically made of 20-mm mesh (mesh size) 210/240 netting.
Polyamide string is made from PA6 nylon multifilaments, one of the strongest synthetic fibers available.
This string offers exceptional shock absorption,
chemical resistance, and elasticity far superior to other synthetic strings, resulting in increased durability.
